Suchitra Gupta, the famous Theater artist, was born in Ajmer, Rajasthan. She completed her primary schooling in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan because his father was doing a job where the regular transfer was standard. So, her family had to shift to many places. In Madhya Pradesh, she studied in Bhopal and Indore.

After her primary schooling, her family moved to Delhi. Her career started in her childhood when she studied at a school in Indore. She performed the role of Chotti Mini, whose age was five years, in the Kabuliwala play at her school’s annual day function. Her school was among the top-rated schools at that time. So, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh came there, and that whole play was published on the Radio to get more popularity. Her fantastic performance in that play impressed the audience so much. So, she got an opportunity to participate in a Child voiceover competition. She went to Delhi for an audition, and she got selected, and then, from there, her career started. She had to take a gap of 1-2 years in her profession because of some biological changes. But she did not stop there. She continued her career afterward.

She has completed her graduation in history and PhD in research. She has also worked as a professor in the same college as her graduation. She got this job after one week of her results. She lived in Patel Nagar during her college time. She was interested in singing and dancing, but she could not pursue her interest. She has done theater and played lead roles. She also gave her appearance in many monologues and screenplays. She is good in Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi. She also learned Chinese during her career for one project. She gave 2 years for it. Starting her career as a child artist, she never looked back. She continues her career further in serials, documentaries, dubbing, advertisements and voiceovers.

The most beautiful part of her journey is how she sustained everything and managed it. She has been a constant part of India’s broadcasting industry. She witnessed many technological changes related to audio recording in her career time, like how there was no recording and editing technology present earlier. She did not make any conscious effort. There was no motivation and ambition to achieve all that she had achieved till now. But this all happens on own, and it amazes everyone how she earned so much with her consistent and hardworking nature. Everyone can listen to her voice on railway stations. Her famous line is “Yatrigan Kripya Dhyan De.”
