Preeta is an Indian actress who has worked in film, television, and theatre for nearly 3 decades. She presently leads ANKH, founded in 1976 by Dinesh Thakurji, and is now one of the most productive theatre organizations in the country. She has done over 3000 shows of approximately 40 plays. She is preparing to create and direct her first big play, based on her extensive experience doing acting workshops and training. Preeta Mathur appeared in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1994), The Seventh Horse of the Sun (1992), and Mehryaar.
