Fed up by Ramesh’s behavior, his father(Nasir Hussain) finally decides and sends him to work. Oncein Madhupur, Ramesh meets a young woman, Poonam, played by Saira Banu, and falls in love with her. Poonam reciprocates his feelings. Urvashi plays the role of a girl named ‘Shefali,’ who falls for Ramesh, and quite obsessively so. She looks ready to kill anyone who’d look at Ramesh.All it takes is one look at Shefali, and Prof. Brijmohan, a self-certified bachelor, falls in love with her.It causes a lot of drama to unfold throughout the movie. Urvashi Dutta received a lot of screen time, and the movie was quite a hit when it was released.
