Yunus Parvez is an underrated Bollywood actor who has worked in more than 200 movies as a supporting actor from 1960s to 2000s. His acting career spanned for more than four decades. Yunus Parvez. He was born in the year 1930 in the Gazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. He started his acting career in the year 1963 with the film Kan-Kan Men Bhagwan where he played the side role of Yunus Parwais. Later in the year, 1965 he appeared I the movie Saheli as Bela’s Co-worker. In 1966, he did two famous movies namely Haseena Maan Jayegi and Bambai Raat Ki Bahon Mein. His work in Haseena Maan Jayegi was appreciated by the critics. Later, in the year 1971, he appeared in four movies – Uphaar, Paras, Mela and Pyaar Ki Kahani. Yunus is remembered for his work in Mela.
It was in the mid-1970s when his career took a fly. In1975, he portrayed the role of Rahim Chacha in the movie Deewar. It was Yunus Parvez who made the character Rahim Chacha famous. In 1979, he played the role of Bade Baabu in the movie Golmaal. His work was flawless in the movie. After that, he did many movies which include Mr. India, Angoor, Mohra, Saajan, Chote Sarkar, Bol Radha Bol and many more. Yunus died at the age of 75 on February 11, 2007at his home at Mira Road. Yunus had been suffering from diabetes. The last movie in which Yunus appeared was Shaad Ali’s Bunty Aur Bubli released in the year.
