Saad El-Haddad, known by his stage names Baba Saad or just Saad, is a German rapper of Lebanese heritage. He was born on November 26, 1985, in Beirut, Lebanon, but moved to Syke in northern Germany in 1994. In 2005, Saad and Bushido appeared on the collaborative album Carlo Cokxxx Nutten 2. He signed with Bushido's label ersguterjunge in the summer of 2005. He appeared on Bushido's album Staatsfeind Nr. 1 towards the conclusion of 2005. Das Leben ist Saad, Saad's album, was published in the spring of 2006. ("Life is Saad"). He attended a concert with newcomer Haftbefehl in March 2011 and declared his departure from ersguterjunge after the show. He later acknowledged that he and the label had different creative visions in an interview.
He then started his own record company, Halunkenbande. However, only a few months after signing the rappers D'Morocco and Sadiq, Saad declared that he could not concentrate on the label at the time due to a fortunate event that forced him to return to Lebanon. Saad continued his career and the label's management after his return to Germany in 2013—D Maroc and Sadiq were dumped by the label in the interim—signing EstA and Punch Arogunz. His most recent solo album, S Doppel A D, was released in April 2013.
