Chandrakant Taneja is known for his roles in many famous movies, including Paa, Dil Kya Kare, and more. He made his debut in Ghatak: Lethal. He was a prodigy in his times. In 2000, he worked in Zabaan Sambhal Ke. It's a TV series, the Indian version of Mind Your Language (a British sitcom), directed by Rajiv Mehra. Chandrakant has yet appeared in another TV series called Ek Nayi Ummeed: Roshni, which aired on Star Plus. This series was about a doctor who believed the lives of the patients are more important than the rules of the hospital.
He has showcased his talent in various movies including Ziddi (1999), Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke (2000), Pukar (2000), Kaminey (2009), Paa (2009), Once Upon a Time in Mumbai (2010), Monsoon Shootout (2013), Sarbjit (2016). He has also worked in Makad Jaala - A Political Trap.
