C.S. Dubey

C.S.Dubey or Chandra Shekhar Dubey was an Indian actor. He was born on the 4th of September 1924. He was born in Kanod, Madhya Pradesh. He also was known as a radio person. His hobbies were Travelling, acting, and reading. Chandra Shekhar Dubey was a part of the Quit India Movement. He also got arrested once for his contribution to the country. He was known for his social services helping needy people to pay their education fees and other charity work.

He later moved to Bombay to become an actor. In the initial days, he worked as an office boy for the producer-director Amiya Chakravarty. But later he gave a debut on screen with the film “Sunhere Din” (1949) in which he appeared in the song “Hum mast Dilon Ke Lekar.” And his first film as a supporting actor was “Daag” (1952). And then he kept on working for many movies like “Patita” (1953), “Mr. & Mrs. ‘55” (1955), “Shuruaat” (1993), and many more. After acting in more than 150 films, Dubey died at the age of 69 on the 28th of September 1993.
