Allan quit a course of electronics engineering to pursue the career of his dream. Allan’s first project was an ad film for Tata Tea. He continues doing more ad films & His choreographic ability of directing the action sequences caught the attention of many producers & directors. Allan got his first break in 1992 Malayalam action film Yoddha starring Mohanlal. After that, he worked in Kajol’s debut film Bekhudi. He continued his creative stunt execution in Beta & Jo Jeeta wahi Sikandar.

Allan’s work caught attention & Shekhar Kapoor roped him in for critically acclaimed drama Bandit Queen. Then he delivered his excellence in back to back three films Dil Se (1998), Satya (1998) & 1947 Earth (1998). His work garnered praise from all contemporary critics.
