Subhash Sahu

Music is the essence of Indian cinema. It is like magic that never fails to surprise us or even change our life. Subhash Sahu is a well-known sound engineer and a music composer of Bollywood and Hollywood too. From his childhood days, Subhash had wanted to become an actor. Despite of his family resisting him not to watch any films, Subhash, in his teenage days would hide from everyone and go watch theatre plays as that was the only source of fun. After participating in several plays, he was pretty confident about his acting skills. In his college days, Subhash worked under some directors as part-time assistants and tried to learn the art.

In his generation, there were no specific courses meant for acting, so he had no other option but to choose sound engineering as that was the closest he could to observe anything about acting. When he started going for auditions, he struggled to get his lines right or get into character. So he decided to continue to make music as that seemed more satisfying, and it was pretty much something that he enjoyed doing. This National award-winning musician has been working for the last 23 years and has collaborated with some great movies like Kaminey, Omkara, Neerja, Tumhari Sulu, etc.
