Prasanna Hanuwate

Prasanna Hanuwate is a sound designer who works predominantly in the Urdu film industry. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from Savitribhai Phule University, Pune. He also completed a Masters in Business Administration from DY Patil University. He studied Audio Engineering and Sound Design at the Zee Institute of Media Arts (2012-2013). He started his career as a Radio Jockey in Radio Nagar, Ahmednagar, from 2011 to 2013. He hosted live interviews, special chat shows, and scripted original content. He was also involved in sound editing, mixing, and post-production in several radio projects. 

He then worked as an audio engineer at BR Films, Juhu, Mumbai. He provided audio post-production services for films, TV shows, and commercials. He also worked as a freelance audio engineer at Artha Motion Pictures Private Limited, Mumbai. He provided sound design solutions and collaborated with filmmakers and content creators. Prasanna also worked as the Manager/ Sound Designer at Northpole Magicworks, Juhu Mumbai (2014-2021). He designed a studio for audio post-production and managed the work of coordinators to provide the best quality sound facility. 

He has also worked as the Senior Executive/ Audio Engineer at Viacom 18 Media Private Limited since 2021.
