Nirukt Dave

Nirukt Dave, the Sound Engineer, was born in Rajkot, Gujarat. His father was a government employee, and his mother was a teacher. He got his training at Gandharva Maha Vidyalaya. He also got piano lessons. Before learning to play the musical instruments, he used to make rhythm with the help of kitchen utensils. He also found his hidden talent in singing. After completing 12th, he was admitted to the B.tech course in dairy technology.

After this, he took the entrance exam and personal interview and got selected for the course of sound recording and TV engineering. He got his first break as a sync recordist and sound designer for a Uttarakhand film, “ Aas Aas is a Pakistani romantic drama TV serial that a >> Read More... ,” which won the Best Public Choice award at the Delhi International Film Festival 2013. Nirukt Dave an inspiration to many youngsters who want to pursue their dreams as sound designers. The person who is gifted with abundant talent and is willing to walk the path full of hurdles was born in Rajkot, Gujarat. His father was a retired government   employee ,and his mother  a retired teacher.As a child, he was pretty interested in learning musical instruments, so he asked his mother if  he wanted to learn tabla. Soon, he started training with Gandharva maha vidyalaya.

He also took training to learn piano. Before, he used to make rhythm with the help of kitchen utensils. Moreover, his parents also supported him with his interest in being a sound designer. During this journey, he also discovered about his hidden talent for singing. He was also good at study. During his early days, he also wanted to be a cricketer, and playing cricket was his hobby ,but gradually, he learned that he was more interested in learning about music.

After completing 12th he was admitted in b.tech course in dairy technology. During this journey, he realized that he needed to take a step to make his career in the sound and music industry.For that, he gave the entrance exam and personal interview and got selected for the course of sound recording and TV engineering. This takes a huge turn in his life.

Once he was done with the course, he got his first break as sync recordist and sound designer for a movie from Uttarakhand called “Aas”,  which won the best public choice award at Delhi international film festival 2013.
He also worked as the mixed engineer in the animation TV series “Chetan and Chatur” on the Pogo channel. Later, he joined music editor in the television industry and worked with Rajiv Bhatt for many popular TV serials such as “Ek Bund Ishq”, “Hello Pratibha” and many more.

He also worked on his dream projects and be a part of 2 Gujrati movies “Roll no. 56” and “Baap Re Baap” directed by Bhavin Trivedi and Sagar Kalana respectively. He contributed to many other films ,and many of them were blockbusters. He was always passionate about being a sound designer. His consistency also helps his to him to achieve his dreams.
