Tanya Nambiar

Tanya Nambiar belongs to Delhi. Her father owns a courier company and her mother is an educationist. She is a popular singer and a voice-over artist. She and her husband own a brand of sauces. It is known as El Diablo Sauces. Her husband’s name is Nikhil Shankaran Kutty. They sell 14 unique flavors of sauces. Their USP is no artificial preservatives, no added sugar, and affordable price for gourmet products. They recently launched India’s first bacon hot sauce in October 2020. They have a website, a Facebook page, and an Instagram account as well. She has been featured in many articles in Rolling Stone India for her songs and unique music.

In an interview, she mentioned that she believed the audience doesn’t differentiate between artists based on gender and appreciated good music. She thinks that good music sells and that is what matters not the gender of the artist. She also gave names of her recent favorite artists. These were Till Apes, Dreamhour, Thermal and a Quarter, Skrat, and Mali. Her songs are Midnight Run, Two Lost Souls, Soldiers, Twerkistan, Flirt, Hide and Seek, Stormy Weather, Stranger in our bed, Lost and Found, Love at First Sight, Good Girls Gone, Big City, and Love Letter. She released her first EP in 2017. It is titled Good Girls Gone and includes songs with the names Good Girls Gone, Love Letters, and Love at first sight. The genre for this EP is rock n roll, pop, and blues. Midnight run was her first electro-pop single which was handled by Madreel films. The song was very different from the rest of her releases. It is about a woman who enters a fantasy world in order to escape reality.

Tanya said that everybody needs a bit of an escape sometimes and that was the theme behind this song. In 2019 she received an award for Best Female Act for her song Two Lost Souls at the Global Vima Music Awards in Malaysia. She also gave her voice for Chirag Todi’s song Desire which was released in October 2020. She has given voiceovers for many commercials and other projects. These include an advertisement for OnePlus India and Adidas. Her music can be found on YouTube, Applemusic, Spotify, Hungama, and JioSaavn. She was featured in HT Brunch’s segment on siblings. She hosted Soul Project India’s Yoga and Wellness festival on 23 Rd February 2020.
