Raj Pandit started his singing voyage when he was just three-year-old. Raj’s mother, Neerja Pandit she is a Bollywood Playback singer. Hence, Raj inherits his mother’s talent. Shadab Bhartiya, popular Percussionist; thought took tabla classes to Raj Pandit when he was three-year-old. His mother, Neerja Pandit is a music guru for him and practices vocals. Later, Raj enjoyed and practiced his music from the Ustad Zakir Hussain and Taufiq Qureshi when Raj joined ‘Ustad Allah Rakha Khan’s Institute of Music’.

Learning never ends, Raj still continues to learn from Guru Shri. Nilesh Jadhav. Raj was encouraged by Tauseef Akhtar to take piano classes from Mrs. Anita Kohli at the age of 8. Raj is also tech savvy and has a well equipped studio under the guidance of Akhtar when he was just 12. He is also involved in learning to program and composes music in his studio. Raj Pandit is a huge fan of A.R.Rahman and loves re-creating A. R. Rahman’s music in his studio. Raj also lends voice to his recreated songs.

Raj always expects perfection in his music composition same as his idol A.R.Rahman. Raj’s recreation that he considers himself is the best is ‘Oh Mere Maula’ of ‘Mangal Pandey,' ‘ Fashion Ka Jalwa’ from the movie ‘Fashion’ and ‘Daata Sun Le’ of the film ‘Jail.' Raj recently composed a track which he made Sameer to listen and after hearing the track, Sameer penned to the track. He is advantageous to learn music from Bollywood great musical masters.

From the childhood, he is grounded and guided by Roop Kumar Rathod, Kailash Kher, PT. Dhruba Ghosh, Shamir Tandon, Raju Singh, and Sameer. Raj and his mother, Neerja Pandit duo come together in two albums created by Raj himself. ‘Kashmir Club Mix’ is the album created by him for which his mother, Neerja Pandit has vocalist for the songs. Later in the year, again mother-son duo came in the album ‘Kong Vaer’; a Kashmiri folk album. The Indian Folk Music Maestro Kailash Kher vocal was also recorded by Raj.

Raj performed in the movie ‘ Traffic Signal’ for which he programmed the music tracks. Raj Pandit has given many stage shows and is the best performer. The stage shows performed by Raj are ‘Indian Television Awards’, ‘Ustad Allah Rakha Khan Institute of Music’, ‘Safarnama’, ‘AIDS’ show and others. He has also tried composing and programming music for TV series, example is '[email protected] - Heroine Zindagi ki Panno Se' on Sony. He is currently working with Raju Singh for the background score of Television series and working on a Sufi album which has 8 songs.

Raghu Dixit, born in Mysuru, Karnataka, is a famous singer, songwriter, music composer and producer who founded The Raghu Dixit Project, which is a platform for artists and musicians from various genres to create and showcase their talents. Dixit’s music is rooted in Indian culture and traditions, depicted in a contemporary form. Raghu Dixit is a master level Bharathanatiyam dancer. He studied microbiology and was working in Belgium as a scientist. He was always passionate about music, thus, he also played on a local radio station in Belgium. At the age of 24, he returned to India and worked as a technical writer in a software company for a year and a half. It was then when radio city rose in Bangalore, and he started making music for them and started his home studio. He started his career by starting his first band called Antargini in 1997 which was popular amongst the youth. He later started The Raghu Dixit Project. Dixit was later invited by Shashank Ghosh to perform in music night at Mumbai, where the music director duo, Vishal-Shekhar appreciated his music and decided to launch him along with their music label. The album was released on 20th September 2010. The title song of the MTV shows Splitsvilla was composed and sung by Raghu Dixit. In November 2013, Then Raghu Dixit Project released their second album, ‘Jag Changa’ which had eight tracks in Indian languages like Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. He also gave his music for the contemporary dance troupe, ‘Nritarutya’ and performed with them for the Queen’s diamond jubilee celebration in 2012 in England. He debuted in Kannada movie ‘Psycho’ as a music director in 2008. He has sung and composed many songs in various languages. He made his Bollywood debut with ‘Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge’ in 2011 and had sung a song in Hindi movie Quick Gun Murugan. Some of his works are ‘Hey Bhagwan’, ‘Mysore Se Ayi’, ‘Mahalu-Veera’, ‘Ambar’, ‘and Gudugudiya’. In 2007, he performed at French tour with French musicians Anais, Emily Loizeau and Mademoiselle K. He had also been a part of a collaborative project, SAMA Festival organized by Gem Arts and The Saga Gateshead, which involved folk musicians from Rajasthan and Northumbrian musicians from the UK in North East England. He has performed in many countries including Korea, Japan, UK, Russia, India and Hong Kong. He has played a show at Parappana Agrahara Central Jail of Bangalore, Karnataka. He has performed in ‘FIESTA’ at Infosys and also at MSRIT Bengaluru. He has performed with the rock band ‘Agnee’ for the mood indigo cultural festival. He has performed in various institutes like The Dhirubai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, P.E.S Institute and Technology, UTDC (Institute of chemical technology) in Mumbai and several other institutes and fests in India. In October 2015, he performed in one of the largest cultural festivals in India, “THOMSO” Of IIT Roorkee. He has performed in the world’s largest fest, ‘Glastonbury Festival’ and has been featured on many TV shows. He has received awards in Songliness Music Awards 2008 as Best Newcomer Award, SFM Kalaa Awards 2008 as Favorite Singer Award, UK Asian Music Awards as Best Alternative Act, GIMA Music Awards as Best Live Performer Award. Dixit says that their aim is to make their presence felt and their music heard amongst the people. He says to think differently and follow one’s passion crossing the hurdles of life.
