Mayank Kapri is an Indian musician who is currently based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He did MTech in Pipeline Design at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He received a diploma in music theory and composition from Middlesex University in London. Later, he did a diploma in Indian and Western Classical and contemporary music at KM Music Conservatory, situated in Chennai, founded by the legend A.R Rahman. Mayank is a freelance singer. He has been performing on live stages for the past five years. He has been a composer, arranger, orchestrator, and music producer for the past three years in the Indian music industry.
Some of his works are Maatham, Dum Dum, On n'y reviendra pas, and Tyara Myara Baata. He also worked on Mauka Parasat and Miss Hairan with A.R Rahaman, which featured in the Bollywood film Heropanti 2. He and his team were nominated for Mirchi Music Awards for Album of the Year and the Listener’s Choice Album of the Year category for Atrangi Re.
