"D'Souza was conceived on 10 November 1985 in a Goan Catholic family in the beautiful city of Goa, India. He is a singer who flaunted his melodious voice in Hindi, as well as the South movies in the regional languages. His vocal timbre gained the attention of the Grammy-winning renowned composer A. R — Rahman who gave his voice for the song titled Hosanna for the movie “Ekk Deewana Tha.” Leon's maternal grandfather was a great violinist, and he was very popular in his locality in his home town in Goa. He was once invited to play in Church and later got invitations for all the local religious meetings.
Leon had learned to play the Recorder, although he doesn’t play it anymore. In the early life of him, D’Souza learned piano, one of his favorites he loves to listen to. He was invited by the composer and great music director Ghibran to sing a song for his Tamil film Naiyaandi. D'Souza spent the whole year 2017 touring with the great, melodious Bollywood singer Arijit Singh at his global concerts throughout the world as a guest vocal act.
