Being the finalist in the famous reality television show - Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge, 2007, Harpreet Deol is an entertainer and a singer. He was born in Ludhiana, India in 1985. He attended Punjab University, and he is known as a singer in the cinema industry.

Although he got eliminated from the Challenge on 22nd June, the public votes brought him and Raja Hassan back into the game.

He was finally dismissed on 31st August.

Her mother is a homemaker and father works in a bank (also a music teacher), had also participated in Zee Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Junior. She had learned music from Jayanta Sarkar, who is also based in Kolkata since her childhood. She used to sing when she was just two years old. Seeing his passion for music, her parents allowed her to take up music seriously and then sent their daughter to give an audition for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa- Junior Bangla, where she was selected as a contestant. She also was a participant In Chote Ustad contest in 2010. She mesmerized singers like Shreya Ghoshal and Suresh Wadkar. She also performed in local stages in Kolkata. She is not just a fan of Lata Mangeshkar, Son Nigam, and Shreya Ghosal,but considers them to be her idol. She is good in classical, semi-musical, folk. Light music that she has highlighted through her singing commotion held in TV realty shows. When she was chosen as top 4 contestants in Indian Idol Junior-2013, several actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Sahid Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Ram Charan Tej and Priyanka Chopra were present. Karan Wahi and Mandira Bedi were host show, and judges were Shreya Ghoshal and music-duo Vishal-Shekar. Many notable film personalities like Deepika Padukone, Shahrukh Khan, were present to promote their film Chennai Express. She has gone through the biggest musical journey in her life as a contestant, and she is hopeful that her talent and ambition will be fulfilled when she will be given a chance to playback in a film. Music composer Anu Malik, who was a guest on the show, had felt that she was a versatile singer. Many Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha and Deepika Padukone has asked her to sing for their films. Even Rohit Shetty had offered her a film, whether it is in progress, nobody knows. The greatest compliment she received was from Amitabh Bachchan, who was the chief guest of the show (Indian Idol Junior-2013), felt she has a bright future in singing. But then she wants to master the art of Indian classical music. This singer had a glimpse of all Bollywood stars, but her dream is to meet Lata Mangeshkar once.

Harshdeep Kaur is an Indian playback singer who has been singing for Bollywood movies since 2003 and also a well known name in Sufi genre of songs. She rose to fame by appearing in reality musical programmed and even bagged the title ‘Sufi Ki Sultana’ form legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan for a program ‘ Lux Junoon – Kuch Kar Dikhaane Ka’ that was aired on NDTV Imagine in September 2008. She has also participated in ‘Home World Tour’ program organized by music maestro A R Rahman in 2010 and had toured all over USA, Canada, UK, South Africa. In 2014, she accompanied the maestro Rahman again for ‘Infinite Love Concerts’ in Singapore and Malaysia. Harshdeep Kaur entered movie playback singing with her first song ‘Sajna Main Haari’ for film ‘Aapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai’. Later, she became famous by singing ‘Ik Onkar’ for Aaamir Khan’s film ‘Rang De Basanti’ followed by another hit song ‘Katiya Karoon’ for a Ranbir Kapoor starrer movie ‘Rock Star’. Later, she gave equally popular and hit songs ‘Jugni’ in a movie ‘Cocktail’. Even she got a chance to sing for a Yash Chopra film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jann’ which was a Shahrukh Khan movie. Harshdeep Kaur was born in a Sikh family on December 16, 1986 in New Delhi. She is known for wearing a turban on her hand while singing a Sufi song on stage. Her musical journey began at her home only. Her father owns a musical instruments factory in the capital (New Delhi). She became serious in learning music since age of six and later learnt Indian classical music from Singh Brothers and western music from George Pullinkala. She even joined Delhi School of Music to learn piano. In 2015, she got married to Mankeet Singh. She took part in Coke Studio (India) on MTV for all three seasons and even had hosted two musical shows so far. Now she has a handful of exquisite albums to her credit.
