Shilpa Varma

Shilpa Varma is a scriptwriter in Bollywood. She has had the opportunity to work on numerous media platforms, including print, radio, and television, as well as a variety of content genres over her 16 years in the media (Kids' Animation, Youth, General Entertainment, and Documentaries). Thus far, the journey has been enriching, and there are beautiful stories from India and the world to share. She has actively participated in the conceptualization and development of shows for radio and television, writing show pilot and series scripts, transcreation of international shows into local languages, seamless execution of local animation productions, development of regional language strategies, and creation of brand integrations for local shows while working with the best media companies in the world. She performed in roles while working for National Geographic as a freelancer.

She discussed her voluntary work and mentioned that she provides scribe services for visually impaired candidates taking competitive exams. She doesn't belong to any organizations. Everything came very naturally when she received a forward about a candidate needing a scribe. She offered to help, and things progressed from there. She has had the utmost joy writing for the candidates. Not to mention, it was also quite humbling.
