An extraordinary artist who began his career in writing even after completing his engineer degree to follow up his passion is the renowned personality Rahul Bunkar. Currently, he is serving as a screenplay writer and editor in the Bollywood Industry. Rahul comes from the city of Durg, in Chhattisgarh. He has been quite fascinated with Cartoons, Movies, TV, Comics, Mythological Tales, and his life always revolved around storybooks, and he desired to be a part of that world since childhood. He passed his senior secondary education from one of the nearby schools in the city. For further studies, he went to Pune, Maharashtra, to pursue post-graduation in screenplay writing from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII).

Even during his college days, he couldn’t resist being a part of cultural events, tech fests, skits, and drama competitions, and therefore had won many awards, as following dreams paved the way for him. Despite being selected in two pre-eminent IT companies, he didn’t join them and chose theatre group over. It was during that time; he witnessed his inclination towards writing. His devotion for screenwriting grew as days passed by, and he began polishing them. During those days, he spent some time in theatre and was also involved in writing as well. Hence, he won a National level drama competition conducted by a renowned media group. At that time, he got the chance to write for some animated shows, and thenceforth, he didn't peek back. He has written more than 100 episodes and two Tele-movies for animated shows such as "Chhota Bheem," "Mighty Raju", " Kalari Kids Kalari Kids is a cartoon show that was produced by >> Read More... ," and "Arjun - The Prince of Bali" which was broadcasted on channels like POGO and Disney along with various OTT Platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Talking about one of his considerable accomplishments, his written episode titled "Every Father's Vision" for the show "Kalari Kids" received the award of Best Animated Episode at Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival, New Delhi. Besides animated shows, Rahul has also been the writer for tell-tale mobile games and a few other projects for instance 7-D shows for multiplexes. His love for writing is still budding and is getting vast recognition from all around the world.
