Jay Verma

Jay Verma is an Indian scriptwriter. He has some experience working as an assistant director and lyricist. Jay is currently living in Mumbai. He became a theatre enthusiast during his college years and hence later he set out to build a career in acting. However, he realized that acting was not his cup of tea. Jay then began writing and soon became successful. Jay has written for various television serials, advertisements, and movies. Television serials written by him like ‘Dil Mil Gaye’ and ‘Mile Jab Hum Tum’, were quite popular among youngsters. He was also a lyricist in the movie ‘I-Proud To Be an Indian’. Jay directed and wrote the song ‘Guzar Jayega’ starring actor Amitabh Bachan.
