Amit Senchoudhary

Amit Senchoudhary is an Indian screenwriter known for his works in several genres. He has conceptualized and been the screenwriter for Indonesian television as well.

Amit was born in Secunderabad and raised in Gondia. His father was an engineer in the electrical department while his mother is a teacher devoted to the well-being of underprivileged street children. Genia Senchoudhary is his spouse. Amit has pursued Bachelor of Engineering (Production Engineering) from Nagpur University.

Amit moved to Mumbai in 2000 to achieve his dream of becoming a screenwriter. After working under many reputed directors, he entered into India’s production house Balaji Telefilms as executive producer in 2002. He conceived the basic knowledge about TV production and direction after which he started penning down popular television serials. Some of Amit’s Indonesian serials are “Mutiara Hati” (season 1 & 2), “Olivia” (RCTI), “Nadia” (SCTV), “Aku Hamil” (SCTV), etc. “Mutiara Hati” was his first Indonesian TV series that became exceptionally popular there.
