Anchal Bhalla is a production designer, art director, and graphic designer. He studied at the Air Force School in New Delhi. Then, he joined Sanskriti School, New Delhi, for higher education. Afterward, he studied Bachelor of Fine Arts for four years at the College of Art, New Delhi. He has a Master’s degree in Art direction and production design from the Film and TV Institute of India, Pune. He started work in the art field just after his graduation. But, he was fascinated by art direction in filmmaking. So, he started focusing on this during his post-graduation. He started 3D sketching, planning drawings, and building sketches. He began executing his skills in the studio. It helps him in his future career.
Anchal Bhalla has worked as an assistant art director. He started his career with an internship at Ogilvy & Mather, Gurgaon, India. He has worked in the Assistant art direction department for multiple television commercials and feature films. He has worked with numerous production designers in Bollywood industry. It helped him in gaining more knowledge about managing work with art directors and set constructors. He has worked for numerous projects as a set designer, including Chhichhore (2019), Brothers (2015), and Bahubali: The Beginning (2015).
He worked on television commercials of numerous brands, including Dream Bathroom, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Tab S9 Series, Aqualite India, Timex India, Jeevansathi.com, Roundglass Wellbeing, Hero Splender, Bajaj Pulsar, MC Donald’s India, Ayur Herbals, Bombay Shaving, Inflection Point, Times Prime, Dr. Oetker India, Pigeon India, Subway India, Harvest Gold India, Eureka Forbes, Iodex, Airtel, Trident Paper, Livpure RO, Myntra, Purina Supercoat, Men XP: Welcome To the Newhood, and many more. He also worked for the logo animation of Camphor Solution. He worked as a graphic designer for T-shirts and costume design for a vampire.
By his hard work, Anchal Bhalla has received numerous awards. He got a certificate in theatre from Sahitya Kala Parishad in 1998. He received a medal from the International Museum of Children’s Art, Sweden, on the occasion of the 4th International Child Art Competition. Afterward, he received a certificate of honor for painting and certificate of merit in Robotics Workshop by Pitber Infovision (2004). He also received the certificate of Appreciation in the All India Camel Color Contest in 2002. He has worked in a short film, Khwahishein. He also worked on a music video, Dil Bagh Bagh Ho Gaya. Anchal Bhalla is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and French.
