Srishti Behl Arya

Srishti Behl Arya, born on 25th August, is an Indian producer and former director working in the pan-Indian film industry. She hails from a cinematic family in Mumbai. Her father, Ramesh Behl, was a renowned film producer in the Bollywood industry. Her mother is Bollywood film producer Madhu Ramesh Behl, the daughter of Bollywood actor Kamal Kapoor. Srishti Behl Arya has three siblings -filmmaker Goldie Behl, Tania Behl, and Shraddha Behl Singh. She is also related to Bollywood personalities Rajendra Kumar Tuli, Sonali Bendre, Geeta Behl, Kumar Gaurav, and Ravi Behl. Srishti Behl Arya completed her schooling in 1988 at Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai. She married Sameer Arya and has a son named Veer Behl Arya. She was the Director of International Original Films on Netflix India from 2018-2021. Srishti Behl Arya played a pivotal role in constituting Netflix India, which led to the making of thirty-five Indian language original films.

She is also known for empowering women through her work in the film and television industry. Srishti Behl Arya founded Rose Audiovisuals Pvt Ltd in 2000 with her brother Goldie Behl. The company had a run till 2018. After her stint with Netflix India, she joined the notable production house Phantom Films as the Chief Executive Officer in 2022. In 2017, Srishti Behl Arya was one of the juries at the MAMI-Mumbai Academy of Moving Image. She was part of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences International Emmy Awards jury panel twice in 2014 and 2016. From 2017 to 2019, Srishti served as a Vice President for Digital and Television in the Producers Guild of India. She was also the treasurer for three years in the guild. Srishti Behl Arya has acted in the 1996 Hindi movie Aisi Bhi Kya Jaldi Hai.

She worked as a writer in the 2001 Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai and 2015 television docu-series Kahi Suni. She started her entertainment industry career as a producer with the 1998 film Angaaray. From 2003 to 2016, Srishti Behl Arya has produced numerous television and mini-series, including Lipstick, Bacha Party, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, etc. She was also the producer of the 2010 serial Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai, the 2012 film London Paris New York, Dekha Ek Khwaab series (2012), I, Me aur Main (2013 film), and many more series and movies.
