Ravi Malik

Ravi Malik is a Producer and a resident of Pune. He studied at DAV College Chandigarh in June 1968. Ravi Malik did his Graduation in TV Production and Cinematography and a PGD in Cinematic Arts at TTC FTII Pune. He was the Director at Fiji National University from April 2010-16. He was also the Director of the Fiji International Film Festival.

He was the Director of the College of Creative Arts, where he trained students in Film and TV Production, Music (Instrumental and Vocal), Media and Journalism, Digital Graphic Arts and Design, Fashion Design, hairdressing, and Beauty Therapy. He was a Professor at D. Y. Patil University- Whistling Woods Film and Media School in Pune from May 2016 to March 2022. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of NH Studioz in Mumbai since September 2020.

He was responsible for the successful establishment of the DD Network under NFDC. He did 200-plus films in 14 languages, which include Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and Marupakkam. He has done 1500-plus programs for Doordarshan, which include Jungle Book The concept about a child being raised in Jungle b >> Read More... , Rangoli, and Superhit Muqabala. He was the Executive Producer of Tapan Sinha's Ek Doctor Ki Maut (1990), Goutam Ghose's Sange Meel Se Mulaqat (1989), Aparna Sen's Sati (1989), Sudhir Mishra's Dharavi (1992), Girish Kasaravalli's Mane (1991), and Satyajit Ray's An Enemy of the People (1989). 

He also produced Nabyendu Chatterjee's The Dreamer (1994) and Kalpana Lajmi's Rudaali (1993). He was a Supervising Producer of Govind Nihalani's Party (1984). Some of his other works as an Executive Producer include The Village Had No Walls (1996), Kakababu Here Gelen (1995), Tarpan- The Absolution (1995), Woh Chokri (1994), Nirbachana (1994), Shilpi (1994), and Tarang (1984) and as a Producer include Teen Chor (1973), Antarjali Jatra (1987), and Aadhi Haqeeqat Aadha Fasana (1990).
