Preeti Sahani is a famous Indian film producer with a career planning over 22 years in the media and entertainment industry. She is an alumnus of HR college, Mumbai. She is on the board of the Producers Guild of India as a council of management. She has a vast experience in content, distribution, production and marketing and has established herself as a notable industry leader. In 2014, she set up the motion pictures division "JUNGLEE PICTURES" with Asia's biggest company, 'The Times of India'. Under her guidance and leadership, it delivered successful films like Badhaai Ho, Raazi, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Talvar, and Junglee. Every film produced under her direction has been nominated at various domestic and international film festivals.
Badhaai Ho and Talvar won multiple National Awards, and Junglee won the title 'Best Action Film' and 'Best Action Choreography' awards at the Jakie Chan International Action Film Week, which was held in China. Before joining the Times of India, she worked as a Chief Strategy Officer at Reliance Entertainment, an Anil Dhirubhai Ambani company. There she managed the overall slate strategy for the company and under her guidance, the company achieved its first-ever Rs. 100 Cr hat-trick with films like Singham, Bodyguard, and Don 2 in 2011. In 1999 she co-founded hungama.com, a leading entertainment portal that is still active. Then she became the founding member of The Indian Film Company (TIFC) now known as 'Viacom18 Motion Pictures.'
