Pooja Kohli grew up in New Delhi, surrounded by Bollywood movies, bhangra music, and spicy chaat. Pooja Kohli has more than 20 years of experience in content and media production/operations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and India. After graduating with a business degree from Delhi University, she produced and directed thirteen documentaries on Shia Muslims in India for I.R.I.B. (Iran TV). She went on to Emerson College in Boston for her master's degree in film. She went on to work with the Independent Feature Project as the Managing Director of the IFP Market after graduation. She is passionate about storytelling. She taught several writers and directors and served as the Festival Director of the Indo-American Arts Council Film Festival in New York City. She has also worn the hat of a producer since 2010.
