Mukesh Purohit was born in a middle-class family and grew up with a younger brother. He was born in Pune, Maharashtra, India and did his schooling from Pune. He made his debut in Bollywood in 2015 Mukesh Purohit made his debut in Indian Film Industry with his film “Kuch Kuch Locha Hai” in 2015. He falls in love with an actress named Shanaya when he met her at Malaysia after winning Valentine’s Day contest. Though he was her big fan before and, he used to watch her movies in private. Shanaya signs for a film where she has to act a middle-class Gujarati wife”. She wanted to do the role perfectly so the director of the movie advised her to stay with Gujarati family for a while. He then makes his wife Kokila leave before Shanaya gets to the house and the story takes some dramatic turns. Its fun to watch but ‘logic’ was absent while planning the movie. “Mukesh Purohit always supported us. When I got sick and the shooting was postponed, Mukesh Sir handled the situation himself and motivated me to get back at work. He is a very calm person and, whenever he was in the sets of Kuch Kuch Locha hai, he always insisted all of us to give our best. ”, The Director said in an interview. Apart from movies, Mukesh Purohit has also produced many short films and music videos. He is currently out of film industry and living with his family in Pune.
