Mala Sekhri

Mela Sekhri is one of the most influential people in the media industry. She got her certificate in publishing from Standford University in 2000 after completing her studies at Punjab University. She lives in the Greater Delhi area. In 2017, Mela became a founding partner of a company named Musiconcepts PVT Limited. Every year, she organizes the Indian Music Summit, a large music summit where many musicians, singers, and others gather under one roof.

For two years straight, Mela Sekhri was rated as one of the 50 most influential women in the media by the Exchange 4 Media group. In 1998, she joined India Today as a marketing manager, and after a long time, she was promoted to publishing director of the lifestyle division. As a COO, she has published in many famous lifestyle and health magazines, such as Women’s Health, Prevention, etc. Some other magazines under her publishing are Cosmopolitan, India Today Plus, Business Today, and Bride.

However, in 2015, Mela Sekhri stepped down as COO of the lifestyle division so she could explore her career.
