Govinda Parajuli

Govinda Parajuli is an Indian producer and Arts manager working in Nepali film and TV industry from Bagmati, Kathmandu, Nepal. He has done his graduation in Bachelor’s in Business and Commerce from Tribhuvan University. Although his career in theatre started in 2010, he has experienced working I the industry as a production designer, manager, and executive producer in theatre productions since 2012. He decided to engage in art management and producing after he participated in two theatre workshops that were conducted by the Cultural Corporation Nepal and the National School of Drama India. He is one of the first to initiate professional theatre production in Nepal. He works as an Art Manager at Mandala Theatre in Nepal where he performs duties like planning, budgeting and implementing projects. He had managed over 15 theatre projects related to conflict transformation and peace building in many theatre tours and International theatre festivals. He has remained an Operation Manager and Finance Officer in Shilpee Theatre from 2012-2013.

Besides has also worked as a freelancer as a producer in Theatrical plays in NG Group for Ek Boli Ek Dam and Uh Kasko. He produced the Nepali movie called ‘ Mahanagar Mahanagar is one of the Hindi serials that appeale >> Read More... ’ released in 2017 and it was selected for Kolkata International Film Festival in 2020 and also received an honorable mention in the Nepal-America International film Festival in 2022. He received the titles of Global Fellow of International society for performing arts (ISPA) in 2020 and the Fellow of ARThink South Asia 2019/20. He is also the CEO of Go Win Production which was established in 2022. Some of his notable works are Pujar Sarki, released in 2024, Halkara in 2022, and One Night in Kathmandu in 2021.
