He was born in Amraudha, Amraudha is a city and a Nagar panchayat in Kanpur Dehat district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. (Film: Imtehan), and "Tere Mast Mast Do Nain" (Film: Dabangg) in Filmfare awards, Zee awards. He also won the ‘Mirchi Music Award' in the category of ‘Album of the year' for the movie ‘Dabangg.' He also nominated in the ‘Mirchi Music Award' in the category of ‘Lyricist of the year' for the movie ‘Dabangg. For the song ‘‘Tere Mast Mast do Nain.''
