He was born in Amraudha, Amraudha is a city and a Nagar panchayat in Kanpur Dehat district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is Development block in Bhognipur tehsil Kanpur, Kanpur is the Manchester of North India. Moreover, it is located in the bank of river Ganges. He is active in the Bollywood in the year 1989. In 40 min. what Faaiz Anwaar wrote, went to become a musical milestone of Music Industry. He wrote the title song for the movie ‘Dil hai ki Manta Nhi.' This title song remains on the top position on most popular Radio program Cibaca Geetmala for around two years duration. After this project, Faaiz gave a musical hit to the films of the year for ‘Imtihaan' and ‘Saajan.' These both established him to the film industry.

He did very well with the lyrics according to the audience demand. He nominated for the Best Lyricist for his debut project for the film ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi' "Is Tarah Aashiqui Ka Asar... (Film: Imtehan), and "Tere Mast Mast Do Nain" (Film: Dabangg) in Filmfare awards, Zee awards. He also won the ‘Mirchi Music Award' in the category of ‘Album of the year' for the movie ‘Dabangg.' He also nominated in the ‘Mirchi Music Award' in the category of ‘Lyricist of the year' for the movie ‘Dabangg. For the song ‘‘Tere Mast Mast do Nain.''
