Roy Venkataraman is a famous singer, songwriter as well as a guitarist. His name was very prominent in India in the 1980s and 1990s. Roy Venkataraman had started his career in Bombay, which is now called Mumbai in India. He had played with quite a few popular bands. Later on, Roy Venkataraman moved to the United States of America, where he gathered huge loads of knowledge and experience. In the U.S., Roy played with various artists like Atlantis as well as Keith Benson. Roy Venkataraman was also seen playing with the indo-jazz band called Divya, which happens to be one of the groundbreaking bands at some of the biggest jazz festivals internationally, including the Jazz Yatra in India.
