Rupak Iyer

Rupak Iyer is an Indian music producer, composer, vocal producer, mixing and mastering engineer whose work is predominant in the Hindi language. Rupak was born on the 2nd of November. From June 2009 to September 2011, he studied at KM Music Conservatory and also completed a diploma in Western music while studying there. He worked as a full-time music instructor at the True School of Music from September 2019 to April 2020 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, where he taught basic and intermediate contemporary and Western classical theory, intermediate and advanced ear training, and music production. He was a student at the International College of Music (ICOM) in Malaysia. From KM Music Conservatory, Chennai, he completed his bachelor's in music from 2012 to 2016.

Rupak was born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Languages known to him are Hindi, English, and Marathi. He is a rising artist with an insatiable love for music since he was a 4-year-old boy. He came a long way since then. He graduated in 2016 with a bachelor's in music with honors from the International College of Music (affiliated with the University of Wolverhampton) and Berklee College of Music. Rupak has completed a wide variety of projects, worked for music albums, cartoon series, voice reality shows, TV melodramatic crime-based serials, web series, TV, and digital advertisements, and with upcoming solo artists.

The projects he did include music composed, produced, mixed, mastered, and also sung for the Ministry of Electronics and Telecommunication (Digital India) Republic Day parade 2021. He started with a pitch that was then selected by the Ministry of Defence. His YouTube channel has various guitar and piano covers for lots of Bollywood songs. He gave music for TVC, Swiggy, and D&J and produced music for the album Crinkle Cut, which was further selected as the runner-up for the best album VIMA Music Awards Malaysia. He also worked for many Bollywood movies like Toilet Ek Prem Katha as an assistant producer for the song "Hans Mat Pagli", and Shaadi Teri Bajayenge Hum Band, for which he produced and arranged the song "Rabb Jane" with the renowned singer Sonu Nigam.

He produced ad music for Malaysian companies like DIGI Telecom, Nestle, and Petronas. He also created jingles for Petronas, Pantene, Horlicks Junior, Legrand, and many more.
