Parvesh Malik

Pravesh Malik was born on 1 July 1980 in Janakpur Dham, Nepal. He is basically from Nepal. He is an Indian Bollywood composer, songwriter, and playback singer. He has been acting as a songwriter and music teacher for the last twelve years. Pravesh Malik has also performed live in different parts of India and abroad in UK, US, and Belgium. Pravesh Malik learned his first note of music from his mother, Sushila Malik, through Maithili Lullabies. He began his early musical training under Pandit Laxmi Narayan Das, Pandit Shiv Lal, and Pandit Ram from Bihar. Pravesh Malik moved to New Delhi with his brother Ramesh Malik for classical tutoring in Hindustani higher music and gained admission into the reputed Gandharva College, New Delhi. He grasped higher local music under masters like I. S. Bawra, Sujit Ojha, and Sudhanshu Bahuguna. Eventually, he was perceived by Pandit Madhup Mudgal.

He had the chance to grasp various things of music under his guidance. He also began to perform with the Gandharva Choir in India and foreign. Pravesh Malik has a Sangeet Shiromani Diploma Degree, an MA degree in Hindustani simple music from DU and a BSc in IT from SMU in New Delhi. He is married to Amrita Karn Malik and has one child, Parth Malik. His brother Ramesh Malik started teaching music at Step-by-Step World School, New Delhi. He founded the melodic music group named Sparsh and fulfilled in different types of India. Then, his regard for music by the legend Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, A. R. Rahman, and many others guided him to make a music band named Sanidhya.

It acts like Sufi, folk, and Classical fusion with his compositions. Pravesh Malik also plays recording regard by revealing Casio in literature like Maithili, Nepali, Hindi, and Punjabi and composing music for regional movies and theatre productions. His famous songs in Maithili like, Geet Ghar Ghar Ke, Chaura Tora Bazzar Khastau, Lehuaayal Aanchar, and Khota Shingaar. He got his first serious record in Prakash Jha's movie Jai Gangaajal, on which he acted with Salim–Sulaiman and sang a Maya Thagni song in his melody and soft voices.
