Numpark Sribanditmongkol is an aspiring music composer, sound engineer, and musician in the Bollywood and Thai film industry. He is widely known for composing music for the 2018 film Ek Aasha, which showcases a transgender person’s wish to become a teacher by defying all odds.Â
Numpark Sribanditmongkol got his Bachelor’s in Digital Media (Sound) from RMIT University, Australia, and pursued a Diploma in Erhu Performance, from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and China Central Conservatory of Music. He relocated to Bangkok, Thailand, and worked remotely as a music composer and sound mixer in various films, TV series, advertisements, and video games based in Australia, Thailand, Singapore, China, and India.Â
He is also proficient in traditional Chinese music and encourages his Thai music contemporaries to compose Thai music with Western and Chinese music. Numpark Sribanditmongkol is the co-founder, producer, and co-ordinator of the audio production and composers collective companies-Melocity and Seathencity. Apart from being a music composer, he is also a part-time teacher and teaches music at the College of Music and Mahidol University.Â
