Lokesh Kanithi

Lokesh Kanithi is a well-known artist from Kolkata, West Bengal. Lokesh Kanithi was born in Kharagpur (West Bengal) and grew up in Visakhapatnam with a solid cultural effect. The culture and the essence of the artistic colours greatly impacted his upbringing. Lokesh Kanithi received his educational degree from SRFTI, Kolkata and had a P.G. in cinema, Sound Recording and Design from 2011 to 2014. Simultaneously, he had another degree in Music theory & composition from ABRSM, London. After completing his post-graduation, he moved to Mumbai to follow his passion for music and composition crafts.

He has worked in the sound department and music department and is also a composer for various film music and songs. He is better known for films like OMG 2 (2023), Joram (2023), Bob Biswas (2021), and Escaype Live (2022). Mr Lokesh has worked as an assistant music composer for various films and their song creations, including Bheed (2023), OMG 2 (2023), and Maharani (2021 to 2022, 20 episodes), and as an original background score for the songs of the films like Love Ka Panga (2020; 6 episodes), The Investigation The investigation is a Crime thriller on Eros now >> Read More... (2019; 9 episodes), and Jayanti (2021). Lokesh Kanithi has also worked as a composer for two significant projects in 2023: The Sleeping Woman and Guras. From November 2011 to November 2014, Lokesh Kanithi worked for Satyajit Ray Film And Television Institute as a Sound Recording and designer. He is conversational in Bengali, English, Hindi, and Telugu.
