Yashu Dhiman is an Indian actress known for her role in &TV’s mythological drama “ Paramavatar Shri Krishna Paramavatar Shree Krishna is a fictional drama ser >> Read More... ” (2017). She plays the major supporting role of Kirti, Radha’s mother, captivating the audience with her portrayal of an affectionate mother. She was born on 17th December 1990 in Chandigarh in a high-class Punjabi family.
She began her career in 2013 when she featured in the music video of the Punjabi song ‘Chann,’ by Harjeet Harman. She made her debut on Hindi television with “ Suhani Si Ek Ladki Suhani Si Ek Ladki is a story about two best frien >> Read More... ” (2014), aired on Star Plus. However, her scenes in the show were limited to a few for which she did not claim much focus.
She eventually came into the limelight when she featured in Channel V’s mini-series “Heroes: The Fightback Files” (2014). The show was based on the social issue of sexual harassment against women, encouraging them to stand up and retaliate. In 2018, she made her debut as a lead actress in Jasvir Singh’s romantic Punjabi drama “Rose: Ek Ajeeb Kahaani,” opposite Narinder Mahajan.
She left her spectators spellbound with her performance, and later that year was cast for “Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga” (2018). She plays the character of Sultana Mehrunisa, the Queen of Baghdad and mother of the female protagonist, Yasmeen. Outside the world of lights and cameras focused at her, Yashu loves dogs and promotes Indian brands of ethnic apparel.
