In the year 2012, Superstar Mohanlal has released a book entitled Vellithirayude Madhavapurnima, which was based on the life of Madhu. The book has its English version also titled A Darling Lover of Silverscreen. Mohanlal handed it over to Shahnaz, whom Madhu acted in his first Hindi film.
