Rameet Sandhu

Rameet Kaur Sandhu or popularly known as Rameet Sandhu, is a singer, dancer, model, andactress of British-Asian origin. She was born to Indian-origin Punjabi parents on 22nd December 1994 in Glasgow, Scotland, the United Kingdom, which is also her hometown.

She has a Scottish nationality. She follows Sikhism as religion, and her hobbies include dancing, traveling, and working out in the gym.

Her mother-tongue is Punjabi due to which she is seen doing alot of Punjabi work. But she can speak English and Hindi fluently as well. She has studied acting and performance from Glasgow’s Stow College.

Rameet started her career in 2005at a mere age of 11with her debut album Dil Milde, which also featured her brother Manmeet Sandhu also known as Lord Manmeet. Her brother is also a professional singer.She loves singing Punjabi songs.

In 2012, she released her solo album Peengh, which was a big hit in Asia. Since then, she has released various songs like Kuriya(2014) Talli Hogiya(2017) and Karde Haan(2019).

She collaborated with Tiffin Beats record label and then T-series for these songs. For Talli Hogiya, she also collaborated with Dr. Zeus and Curtis Young, who is the son of Dr. Dre.

Her latest album is Ay Papi with Sama Blake. Her career in acting began with a television show in 2009 called Half Moon Investigations, which was a BBC series. After that, she starred in another E4 Reality TV show known as the Game of Clones.

Her debut movie is Mahi NRI, released in 2017, which starred Hardy Sandhu Hardevinder Singh Sandhu recognized widely by the >> Read More... , opposite her. It was a Punjabi movie. Her debut Hindi or Bollywood movie is Harry(2017).

With this, she became the first Asian-Scottish woman to have done a Hindi movie. She also starred in another Bollywood movie known as Jawani Janeman(2020) alongwith Saif Ali Khan Saif Ali Khan is a film celebrity born to actress  >> Read More... , Tabu, and Alaya F. Rameet has also worked at a Radio channel and hosted a youth-oriented show Awaz FM as an RJ at the age of 13.

In 2012, she became the first Miss India Scotland. She is also a member of the famous Bhangra group known as Punjabi No 1, which was founded by her mother. T

he group has performed all over the world, including SECC, Hammersmith Apollo, NEC, and BBC Children in need live programs. She considers her parents as her biggest inspiration.
