Monica Sehgal, known as 'Mehak' among her relatives and fans, is an Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) born Indian television actress. She landed in Mumbai by chasing her dream of studying at Mumbai's St. Xavier's College. It was this adamant aspiration of hers that helped her to survive all the hardships that she endured at the initial stages in Mumbai. This dancing manic always wanted to be a television host, that led her to participate in a digital competition named '#jugaad' initiated by production giants Swastik Productions ( makers of Mahabharatam in Star Plus).Impressed by her talent, Siddarth Kumar Tewary, founder of Swastik Productions, offered her a role in their show. Thus, she had her breakthrough in her acting career trough the television drama series “Dosti… Yaariyan… Manmarzian” which aired on Star Plus.
