Honeypreet Insan

Honeypreet Insan is an Indian actress, editor, director, and philanthropist. Born in 1975 to Ramanand and AshaTaneja, she has two siblings- SahilTaneja and NishuTaneja. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh adopted her in 2009, and she changed her name from Priyanka Taneja to HoneypreetInsan. She is a staunch follower of Dera Sacha Sauda. She married Vishwas Gupta in 1999, but they got divorced in 2009. In 2015, she made her directorial debut as the creative director in MSG: The Messenger of God and her acting debut in its sequel, MSG 2 the Messenger (2015), in which she played Parimeet Insaan.

Both movies revolve around events that conspired in Dera Sach Sauda with an added element of action and comedy. Honeypreet acted and directed her third movie, MSG the Warrior: Lion Heart (2016), too. Its direct sequel, Hind Ka Napak Ko Jawab: MSG Lion Heart 2, got released in 2017. Besides acting as her namesake, she’s also credited as its director, editor, and cinematographer, along with 17 other credits. Their last project together, Online Gurukul, never got released in 2017 as they got banned from working in the Indian film and television industry by the IFTDA and CINTAA.
