Heeba was born to Manara Sikri, the first wife of Naseeruddin Shah, at his very young age of twenty. Things did not work out between the couple and hence they parted ways as soon as Heeba was born. Manara demanded a lump sum from Naseeruddin if she has to accept for divorce. Naseeruddin could not afford the amount at that time and hence had to be silent.
He was not even allowed to see Heeba. Heeba Shah was taken to Iran by her mother and was raised there, where she completed her schooling.
