Anjhula Mya Singh is a famous Indian model, MTV VJ, an International Psychologist, Buddhist practitioner, blogger and speaker for various esteemed organizations and publications. She has her Ph.D. in Buddhist studies.

In her Twitter profile, she describes herself as an "international psychologist, named top model by vogue, spiritualist and humanitarian, erstwhile Rajput, chair of Amnesty Malaysia". She was born as the youngest of the three children to Thakur Birendra Asha Singh Bais and Thakurani Asha Singh Bais on 13th march, 1983. She was much younger than her brother and sister.

When she was born, her father was working as an agricultural scientist and consultant in America. Even though the hybrid name cannot give a meaning for itself, Anjhula believes it is not the meaning of the name that matters, but the deeds of a person. Anjhula strongly believes the Rajput blood that flows through her veins, brought her all the valor, fearlessness and strong desire to protect the weak.

As a child, she has to live both in India and America. She grew up in the Northern city of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in India and did her schooling in Nebraska, USA. This dislocated childhood made it difficult for her to place herself.
