Her Alma Mater was Khaitan Public School, New Delhi and the American Embassy School New Delhi, India. Her college life started at the Gargi College in New Delhi. This college is affiliated with the University of Delhi. Her Career started with her getting crowned as Miss Noida in 2009. She emerged as a beautiful Indian model. She has represented the country in the contest MISS DIVA EARTH 2014 and succeeded in grabbing the first prize and this crown also allowed her to enter the contest of MISS EARTH 2014. Alankrita was a part of the second Miss Diva contest. She stood as the first runner-up, titled as Miss India Earth 2014.

Though she did not win the title there she won many other subtitles like Miss Photogenic, National Costume award and swimsuit award.
