Since a few years we have seen many young talents entering the Kannada Film Industry (also known as the Sandalwood film industry). The fans are also accepting and encouraging these young talents. Aishani Shetty is also one among them. This beauty is from Mangalore. She was born on 15 th of April and is now 21 years old. She completed her schooling from Bishop Cotton Girls’ School and is currently pursuing her undergraduate course.

‘Vaastu Prakaara’ was her first film in the Kannada Film Industry. Despite it being her first film, she acted very well and with full confidence and was successful in attracting the movie watching audiences. She was called for the audition of the movie by Yogaraj Bhat and was asked to deliver an extended dialogue. She was eager to know the result and at the same time was also worried because her semester exams were going on. When she came to know that she was selected, she was so happy and felt it to be unreal. She thinks that landing a role in the film by such a great director so early in her career was unbelievable. After this movie she was offered to act in another Kannada movie, ‘ Rocket’, a romantic comedy film co-starring Sathish Ninasam Born with the name of Shivakumar on June 20 in Yel >> Read More... , directed by Shiva Shashi and produced by Sathish Ninasam. This film couldn’t attract much audience as it turned out to be a one time watch and so didn’t add any flavor to the career of Aishani Shetty.

She wanted to complete her graduation first and then go to an acting school, but she was offered a role before she could actually complete her graduation. The film ‘Vaastu Prakaara’ has been a great learning experience for her. She wishes her success to continue in the Sandalwood in the future.
