It is often heard that this actor started getting his practice in acting when he was very young, a just ten-year-old, and then he developed a passion to be a theatre actor. Vansh has accepted the fact that he is in the movies just because of his theatre activities.

He always acknowledges his theatre knowledge in acting. The acting was just his hobby, as he wanted to be a cricketer. Later on, when he was in college, he had to choose one, either acting or cricket. Hence, chose acting as a lifetime companion.

Theatre gave him discipline, dedication, and aesthetics, and broadened his imagination and helped him in films. Known for natural acting in films and even theatre, he also conducts workshops at the National School of Drama.

He acted in Deepa Mehta's movie 'The Anatomy of Violence' which was a documentary-drama on the Nirbhaya Gang in Delhi. This was his fourth venture with Deepa Mehta, and the film is said to be a fictional dramatization of the lives of the six men who committed.

The focus was on their lives, not on the incident. The actor is considered to be new villain of Hindi cinema, and one hopes he will evolve as an actor completely both in theatre and films which is his long-cherished dream.
