Dr. Shriram Lagoo is an Indian actor who is known for being a character-specific or a method-actor. Lagoo originally from Satara completed his formal education at Fergusson College and graduated from the B.J.Medical College. He discovered his passion for drama and the theater during his college days, and joined Bhalba Kelkar’s “Progressive Dramatic Association.” Kelkar, a senior student at the same college Lagoo, attended, shared his like-mindedness, and penchant for acting. Later on, Lagoo pursued further specialization in his education field by taking up a course in ENT in Mumbai. He practiced medicine in Pune, Mumbai, and also continued training in various courses abroad. In the year 1969, Lagoo made his theater debut with the Marathi stage play “Ithe Oshalala Mrityu,” thus switching his mainstream profession into acting. He also worked briefly with Rangayaan, a theater company in Mumbai. Lagoo is renowned for his lead role in the well-known Marathi play “Natasamrat,” scripted by Kusumagraj.
He has featured in Marathi movies such as Sinhasan, Saamna, Khichadi, Pinjra, and Shasan. Lagoo was cast in television serials such as Waqt Ki Raftar, Thoda Sa Aasman, and Khandan. Besides, he has also featured in more than a hundred movies which include Hera Pheri, Bullet, Imaan Dharam, Kinaara, Inkaar, Des Pardes, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Meera, Manzil, Jurmaaan, and Sargam, during the 70s. The next decade saw him in films such as Do Aur Do Paanch, Swayamvar, Sadma, Pukaar, Kaamchor, and in Ben Kingsley’s “Gandhi,” just a name a few of the lot. The 90s featured him in Khuddar and “Aurat Aurat Aurat.” Lagoo was a part of more than forty stage plays, inclusive of Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati, also directing many of them. In his legion of Awards, Lagoo is the recipient of a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor, a Kalidas Samman, and a Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship. Lagoo is an anti-corruption crusader, and an activist, who was a part of Anna Hazare’s campaign in 1999. He has also been extremely vocal about various social issues and is actively involved in philanthropy.
Siddhanth Kapoor is the son of the famous actor, Shakti Kapoor. Though he has appeared in just three movies yet he is sure to be a superstar in the coming future. Siddhanth belongs to a family of superstars where both his father and his sister have already made their name in the industry; he’s following their footsteps. Siddhanth did the acting course at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Siddhanth started his career in acting recently with his debut movie in just 2013.
Though he is yet to appear in any film as a lead actor, he appeared only in small roles. Before entering the film industry, Siddhanth worked as a Disk Jockey. He didn’t start an acting career but with direction first. After disk jockey, he became an assistant director and worked for two years. He worked under exact==Priyadarshan for some two years. His films as an assistant director includes, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘Dhol’ and also ‘Chup Chup ke’ which was a blockbuster. He entered in films with the movie ‘Shootout at Wadala’ directed by Sanjay Gupta with just a 15 minutes role as a sharpshooter. The movie was released in 2013. In 2014, he appeared in the movie ‘Ugly’ in a small role.
Later in 2015, he acted in Sanjay Gupta’s film ‘Jazbaa’ which was released in October 2015. It was Aishwarya Rai’s comeback movie, and he appeared as Sam in the movie. Siddhanth is a very down to earth person and irrespective of being a star kid, lives his life normally. For Siddhanth it doesn’t matter how big or small the role in the movie is, he just wants to give his best in the film.

He was given a chance in the remake of the yesteryear’s movie ‘Satte Pe Satta’, in which Amitabh Bachchan played the leading role, but due to some reasons the remake got shelved and Siddhanth got his first break as an actor in the movie called ‘Shootout at Wadala’. He played the role of ‘Gyancho’ in the movie. His role showed his prowess as an actor. He got wide attention and was admired by the critics as well.
Although, he was in a supporting role, he still got immediate attention of the prominent production houses all over the film industry. He is an expressive actor who has an in-depth potential to fit into the roles of different categories. He is being considered as a very potential new entrant in the acting domain and has a lot of stuff and potential to offer to the world of entertainment in the future.
