Recently, his short film An Untold Story of Paperboats in which he played the lead role, won at the Nice International Film Festival. He got nominated for Best Lead Actor for this short film. Darshan played the role of a boy who got influenced by the Naxals and his life went downhill in this award winning short movie. At this youthful age, he has done quite well for himself which makes us believe that he is one of the most gifted actors.
