Megh Pant

Megh Pant is an Indian actor. He completed his bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, in 2001. Pant is a Graduate of FTII’s Acting batch in the year 2004 - 2006.

He worked as an ACP Assistant in the movie ' No Smoking Click to look into! >> Read More... ' in 2007. He appeared in many short films like 'Flying High' in 2010, 'Juju' in 2012, and 'The Throne of Cloacina' in the year 2017. He also worked Tamil films like 'Anandhapurathu Veedu’ and ‘15th October.’ He acted in ‘Crazy Cukkad Family,’ a comedy film directed by Ritesh Menon and produced by Prakash Jha. He has composed many poems and songs. He has written dialogues of a feature film ‘Jeene do’ and also screenplays for another feature film ‘The Full Circle.’

Pant was the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the band 'The uncarved block.' He is currently the Director of Academic Operations at ITASPA across all centers, specializing in research in the Sanford Meisner Acting Technique.

He had written a research paper on "Acting in the Cinematic Environment " in the year 2007 and has been a member of the Academic Council at FTII and an Empanelled Faculty at FTII.

Megh Pant designed the acting batch selection workshop in the years 2006 and 2012. He is a member of the Cinema and Television Artist Association (CINTAA) and Founder Member of the Theater Group 'Natya Manch’ in Chandigarh. He is also the Founder Member and Advisor of ‘The Rising Society of Art and Culture’ located in Bhopal.
