Jatin Suri

Jatin Suri, a small town boy of Himachal Pradesh, always aspired of becoming an actor and making it to Bollywood. Later to sharpen his acting skills he joined an acting institute under the guardianship of Hollywood actor, Rob Reece in Mumbai. Before coming into Bollywood, Jatin started his career as a theater artist in Shimla’s Gaiety and Chandigarh’s Tagore. Jatin did a couple of movies in Bollywood.

The movie was about a group of friends studying in the same college campus in Sikkim where an Australian man challenges them to win the competition otherwise they will seize their college property. After a lot of struggle and life sacrifice of Debu (Jatin Suri), Indian team wins the challenge and their college too.

The movie is an action drama where boy fights with jerks for a girl who attacks her. After seeing all this finally, the girl’s father approves the relationship of the boy and the girl. Heropanti is Hindi remake of a Telugu movie Parugu. The film was shot at places including Gulmarg in Kashmir Valley. The movie had been nominated for many awards. Nine out of twelve awards was awarded to the movie like Stardust Awards, Big Star Entertainment Awards, IIFA Awards, Star Guild Awards, Filmfare Awards and Screen Awards.

Times of India did an interview with Jatin Suri, where Jatin said that ‘’he had learned a lot of things from both the movies. He is lucky to have had the guidance of directors like Sabbir Khan and Divya Khosla Kumar.’’ Jatin had very sincerely done his part of work with dedication and had also learned what else was required to brush his skills. Jatin never thought it was too late to learn anything, whatever advice was given to him he used to take it very seriously. He was delighted that he finally made it to Bollywood.
