We are talking here about Himayat Ali, who rose to stardom as a character artiste with in the movie Sarfarosh. Earlier, a wave of TV serials had given him a number of unforgettable characters in the TV screen, that left a lasting impression.

He is the new breed of character actors who took the lead and got appreciated in Bollywood movies and even in mega TV serials. When Himayat Ali became a topic in the TV serial characters in Doordarshan or Zee TV, he was just affirming a trend.

He is a character actor of umpteen TV serials and has performed in some big blockbuster movies too in Bollywood. He was a good theater actor in Mumbai and was highly acknowledged for his performances in the theater. For his appreciation in stages, he got a break in TV serials. He made his debut in the ZEE TV horror show, which ran for 100 episodes. He then performed for ‘’ for ZEE TV and ‘Merzaan Ujala’ for DD National, to name a few.

Basically a shy person, he takes interest in swimming, theater activities and even knows horse riding and performs judo and karate.
