Nila Madhab Panda, born on 18th October 1973 has zodiac sign Libra. He is a director and producer and has also worked as a cinematographer as well. He has been a part of over 70 films and documentaries included, usually which are based on social issues like child labor, education, water scarcity and other issues in the developing India. He has made his way from an unknown village Sonepur, Orissa, India to the Bollywood and has proved that films are a good way to make a change in the society and he received an Award from British Council for Longest Journey, Creative Futures of India in the year 2006.

His next film released in the year 2014, ‘Babloo Happy Hain’, with a motive to make people aware about AIDS. In the year 2015, his movie, ‘Kaun Kitney Paani Me’, sent a very clear message to the public that if we don’t start saving water from now onwards, we will be left with no clean water soon. Sources reveal that his next film which will be on the issue of climate change will hit the theaters soon. He produced a total of five films, wrote stories for two films and directed seven films.
He received Padma Shri, which is the fourth highest civilian honor in the year 2016 in film direction and production category, which was a great achievement to him and he said that it would motivate him to do more movies on the national issue to spread awareness and do his part for the motherland India. He worked as a cinematographer in the year 2002 for a documentary movie ‘Swajaldhara’ and in the year 2003 he received Heroism in Cinematography, THP, New York.
He was declared as the Orissa Icon in the year 2011 by the state government and the following year he was declared Son of Orissa. He got Bharat Gaurav from Indian government (India’s Pride) in the year 2015. He has a long way to go and make great movies which inspires everyone to do good deeds for the nation.
